BY CURATORS

“PATIO is the place where sculptures, performances, ephemeral pieces, workshops or community projects converge, a space that breathes territory, nature and culture.”
-Lena Solà Nogué, curator of PATIO BY ZⓈONAMACO

“Curating a project like PATIO BY ZⓈONAMACO is both a challenge and a privilege. Working with artists to carry out specific projects in such a unique environment as Baja California is a singular undertaking, especially in the Puerto Los Cabos Sculpture Garden, where the natural space connects with the historical, geographical, and environmental context. This curatorial process is distinct and deeply meaningful. The experience has been incredibly enriching; the artists have addressed highly relevant contemporary themes, and I am very pleased with the project's development.”
-Juan Canela, curator of PATIO BY ZⓈONAMACO
