POSTNATURALISM / AESTHETICS BEYOND THE LANDSCAPE.
→ TOUR AGENDA

The collective exhibition brings together artists from the coasts of La Paz, Baja California Sur, Mérida, Yucatán, and Quintana Roo, as well as from large cities such as Mexico City and Berlin. The focus is on the aesthetic dialogue about how nature is thought of in contemporary discourses, highlighting artists from the coasts for their connection with ports and the sea, where the idea of globalization began. The artists approach nature and territory from critical perspectives, some questioning their discursive construction in modernity, others fusing the natural with the human. This reflection has been called “postnaturalisms“.
